ROME, Ga. (April 9, 2017) – Blake Ray has been named the executive director of Renaissance Marquis, a premier retirement village serving the Rome, Ga. community.

In 2015, Ray began an 18-month administrator in training program at Renaissance Marquis. The intensive training program transitioned him through each department as he trained with each department head to prepare him for the inner workings of the senior care industry.

Prior to his administrator in training program, Ray served as the special projects coordinator at Renaissance Marquis’ management company, Legacy Senior Living.

Ray is a native of Cleveland, Tenn., and attended Lee University, where he graduated with a double major in accounting and psychology. He and his wife, Kelli, currently live in Cartersville, Ga.

“The senior living industry has been my calling from a young age. Over the past 2 years at Renaissance Marquis, the residents, team members and family members have become my second family. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve in the position of executive director, as I continue to honor, respect, and care for our residents,” Ray said.
